PILGRIMAGE TO STIEPEL 31. MAY 2009

The Philippine Community in Berlin embarked on a SPIRITUAL JOURNEY- pilgrimage to STIEPEL, BOCHUM- a day of PRAYER, SINGING and PRAISING- night trip with the bus, LAUDS with the CISTERCIAN MONKS, tour of the MONASTERY, stations of the cross with WARM WELCOME from FR. BONG and his CONFRERES- a short but DEEP ENCOUNTER with GOD and the BLESSED MOTHER.

The successful PILGRIMAGE was realized through FR. BONG CHUMACERA, from the DIOCESE of SAN PABLO. FILIPINOS showed the LIVELINESS of their FAITH during the HOLY MASS, PROCESSION and even during the SALO-SALO- a real BLESSED event with many Kababayans from different PLACES- an EVENT which the community plans to do YEARLY in various MARIAN SHRINES in Germany.
