"Life is Beautiful" was the title of the Gospel Concert staged by Fr. Raul Caga SVD during his first Concert Tour in Germany. In less than a month, he was able to conquer not only the seven major cities of Germany but also the heart of many Filipinos and Germans. From April 30 to May 22, he sang in Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Saarlouis, Munich, Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin.
The first Concert in Heidelberg occured few days after his arrival from the Philippines. Heidelberg has a close connection with Philippine History because it was here where Dr. Jose Rizal studied and wrote his first novel, Noli Me Tangere.
From Heidelberg, he made the second Concert on May 5 at the St. Ignatius Church in Frankfurt where the Filipinos celebrate their Sunday Masses. On May 7, he went to Saarlouis and sang in several German Masses and was able to sell many CD's. The famous Bavarian city of Munich heard his songs on May 13. A week later, he was in Cologne, site

of this year's World Youth Day, and touched the audience in the Church of Gross St. Martin.
On May 15, he visited the Filipino Community in Hamburg. The last Concert was held in the German capital of Berlin where Fr. Raul rendered his final performance with much enthusiasm.
Fr. Raul enjoyed his short respite from the academic world at the Divine Word Seminary in Tagaytay City where he is a Professor of Moral Theology. He staged this Concert Tour to raise necessary funds for the Divine Word Seminary and to upgrade the media and music apostolates of the Seminary. The concerts and performances were possible through the support of the Steyler Bank, the main sponsor and through the help of the Filipino Communities and the Filipino Conferes in Germany: Fr. Jun de Ocampo and Fr. Rod dela Rosa (Bonn/Cologne), Fr. Fernando Santos (Frankfurt), Fr. Roberto Alda (Saarlouis), Fr. Oliver Quilab (Munich), Fr. Willi Escalante (Hamburg) and Fr. Adonis Narcelles (Berlin).
